Product information

- The BIC Home Care - Comprehensive Home Insurance product is an insurance solution exclusively designed for individual customers of Credit Institutions, helping to protect customers' homes and assets against unexpected risks, providing peace of mind for your beloved home.

- The product includes 03 flexible options:

+ Comprehensive Private Home Insurance – TDN.

+ Comprehensive Private Home Insurance – TDN Plus.

+ Compulsory Fire and Explosion Insurance (applied in accordance with Decree No. 105/2025/ND-CP dated May 15, 2025, and Decree No. 67/2023/ND-CP dated September 6, 2023, of the Government).

- Note:

+ The product is provided by BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC) to customers of Credit Institutions.

+ The website only provides general information and basic contents of the product. Insurance benefits, scope of coverage, terms, conditions, and exclusions of insurance liability are specified in detail in the Insurance Contract / Certificate of Insurance issued by BIC.

- BIC Home Care – Comprehensive Private Home (including TDN and TDN Plus): Insurance for the building structure and contents inside the home.

- BIC Home Care – Compulsory Fire and Explosion: Insurance for the building structure (excluding contents inside the home).

- Participation period: Flexible according to the customer's needs.

- Minimum of 01 year and maximum of no more than 10 years.

- BIC Home Care – Comprehensive Private Home (including TDN and TDN Plus):

+ Fire, direct lightning strike;

+ Explosion;

+ Storm, typhoon, flood;

+ Bursting or overflowing of water tanks, water apparatus, or pipes;

+ Impact on the home by road vehicles or cattle;

+ Theft involving the use of force;

+ Debris removal expenses (limit: 5% of the highest limit of liability);

+ Firefighting expenses (limit: 5% of the highest limit of liability);

+ Alternative accommodation expenses after a loss (limit: 5% of the sum insured for the building structure and not exceeding 30 days).

- Extended scope of coverage applicable only to the TDN Plus product:

+ Drainage clearing expenses (limit: 10% of the total Sum Insured per loss and during the insurance period).

+ Additional expenses (limit: 20% of the loss value, up to 10% of the total Sum Insured per loss and during the insurance period).

+ Subsidence and landslide (limit: 10% of the total Sum Insured per loss and during the insurance period).

- BIC Home Care – Compulsory Fire and Explosion: Fire; Explosion.

- Minimum sum insured is VND 200 million, maximum is VND 20 billion.

- The sum insured for the contents inside the home does not exceed 20% of the sum insured for the building structure.

- The sum insured does not include the land use right value.

- Customers declare information and sign fully on the "Insurance Request Form" of BIC.

- No appraisal of the actual value of the home is required prior to joining the insurance; insurance is issued immediately upon the customer's completion of registration.
