In celebration of the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and the 115th anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find the way to save the country, the Youth Union of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) in coordination with the Youth Unions of BIDV Hanoi and BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC) Hanoi organized a return-to-source journey combined with meaningful social welfare activities in Nghe An province.
During the trip, the delegation presented practical facilities and gifts with a total value of VND 240 billion, specifically:
At Nghia Hanh commune, the delegation presented 200 life jackets, 10 rescue boats, and 600 notebooks (valued at VND 90 million) to support local residents in storm and flood prevention and to encourage students ahead of the new school year.
At Huoi Tu 1 Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, the delegation presented a rooftop solar power system, 600 notebooks, and many other gifts (valued at VND 150 million). Also here, the Traffic Police Division of Nghe An Provincial Police held a propaganda session to disseminate knowledge on the Road Traffic Law to the students.
Within the framework of the journey, the delegation offered flowers and incense at Chung Son Temple and Kim Lien Special National Relic Site to express their deep respect and boundless gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh and his ancestors.
The trip was not only a profound journey of gratitude but also an opportunity for the youth of the units to forge their patriotism and national pride, continuing to spread the dedication and community responsibility of the youth in the new era.
